This shows the gazebo with the pond in the foreground. I took this picture
standing up by the creek. Our house is to the right of the gazebo. Just adjacent
to the right of the gazebo is where the barbeque is being built.
The creek and its 3 waterfalls. This creek is underneath an old pear tree.
The path that goes around the property is just above the top creek waterfall.
This picture was taken from the office window above the garage. It shows the
full pond. At the upper left is the creek. The pond is broken into two halves by
an island that has two stone bridges in the center. You can walk across the pond
on the bridges to get to the path that is visible on the other side. The larger
pond on the left gets the most sun and is where most of the tadpoles like to
live.
This shows the center waterfall. We have two filters in this pond which
cleans the water and pumps it up to the waterfalls. The center waterfall is from
one filter and the creek waterfalls are generated by the other filter.
Pond flowers and the creek waterfall. I have a floating barley planter that
keeps the algae down with lobela in it. The flowers from the lily pads only last
a couple of days but are very pretty.
Both waterfalls in the larger pond half.
Bob, Bobby, Willy, Charlie & Bella sitting on the island shortly after
the pond was built.
